The Simian Award

Our winner of the 2013 Simian Award is Bill “Mr. FourSkin” Cockey. In a complex computation of Fairways, Greens in Regulation, Pars and Birdies, Mr. FourSkin topped the rest of the bad Golfers and showed an improvement of 12.9 points over his previous year’s results. Out of a possible 300 points, Bill posted a 97.1, not all that impressive, but, still, better than anyone else. The winner hit just over 39% of the fairways, 28% of greens in regulation, and 29%  pars and/or birdies.

During the season we play between 25 and 30 rounds of 9-hole twilight golf and the beginning point for each of the contestants for the 2014 season are:
Bill “Mr. FourSkin” Cockey: 97.1
Bill “The Snowman” Levering: 49.5
Rodger “Mr. Fifteen” Swanson: 68.3
Ron “Commish” Swanson: 71.4

Let the games begin. Weekly updates can be viewed on The Scribe’s Report and monthly stats are just a click away, 2014 Race for the Chee’burger.
